ℹ️ INFORMATIONThe Western United Cup is a women and girls' competition available for under 10s to under 16s as well as Youth Womens competition (Players born 2003-2007). Clubs and participants from around the country can participate, 49 teams completed in the tournament last year.🏟 VENUEMorshead Park, Ballarat. 910 Pleasant St S Ballarat.📆 DATESFriday 4 October 2024 Saturday 5 October 2024 Sunday 6 October 2024⚽️️ FORMAT - Qualified/Experienced referees and officials- 4 games guaranteed, up to 6 games for most age groups- Friday: most teams will play 2 group games- Saturday: most teams will play 1 group game plus a knock-out game (Cup or Plate)- Sunday: generally only the teams that win their knockout game will play a semi-final and if they win that, will progress to the Grand Final- Round Robin format plus finals- Cup and Plate Divisions for finals (depending on team numbers)- 3 day tournament In order for an age group to go ahead, a minimum of 6 teams is required, should this quota not be reached, we will use our discretion to amalgamate age groups or move teams into the most suitable age group. All teams will be required to be available to play for the entire 3 days of the tournament.Please note teams will be guaranteed entry into the tournament only once full payment is made. If a category is full, teams will be placed on a waiting list and will only be contacted to offer them a spot if teams withdraw or additional spaces are created. No payment is required for waiting list teams until a place is offered.Refunds will not be provided at any stage unless a replacement team is secured.
