Registration for Western United Cup 2024

ℹ️ INFORMATION

The Western United Cup is a women and girls' competition available for under 10s to under 16s as well as Youth Womens competition (Players born 2003-2007). Clubs and participants from around the country can participate, 49 teams completed in the tournament last year.

⚽️️ FORMAT

- Qualified/Experienced referees and officials
- 4 games guaranteed, up to 6 games for most age groups
- Friday: most teams will play 2 group games
- Saturday: most teams will play 1 group game plus a knock-out game (Cup or Plate)
- Sunday: generally only the teams that win their knockout game will play a semi-final and if they win that, will progress to the Grand Final
- Round Robin format plus finals
- Cup and Plate Divisions for finals (depending on team numbers)
- 3 day tournament

In order for an age group to go ahead, a minimum of 6 teams is required, should this quota not be reached, we will use our discretion to amalgamate age groups or move teams into the most suitable age group.

All teams will be required to be available to play for the entire 3 days of the tournament.

Please note teams will be guaranteed entry into the tournament only once full payment is made. If a category is full, teams will be placed on a waiting list and will only be contacted to offer them a spot if teams withdraw or additional spaces are created. No payment is required for waiting list teams until a place is offered.

Refunds will not be provided at any stage unless a replacement team is secured.

EXTRA INFORMATION

- The team manager can register the team and there is no fee required at the time of registration. The team managers can then send a link to each of their players so they can register and make payment individually at $75 per player

Cancellation of the tournament due to force majeure

In the event that the tournament can’t be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of the tournament organisers (force majeure) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence or the tournament organisers, the tournament organisers cannot be held liable by the delegations for any damages, costs or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders, financial losses etc. Under these circumstances, the tournament organisers reserve the right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future tournament, or to reimburse the delegations after deducting costs already incurred for the organisation of the tournament and which could not be recovered from third parties.

Western United Cup and it’s organisers are in no way responsible for injury or economic loss which may arise in the case of acts of terror, war, warlike events, civil war, revolution or civil disturbances or because of the actions of the authorities, strikes, lockouts, blockades or similar events.
